I have to agree with the posters below me: reading online is so much better than reading just an article in print. So many things can be added to an online story to enhance the experience. The article online ("Death of a Planned Obsolescence") had links to click to take you to definitions or further explain something in the article. This just cannot happen in a print story, at least not in the instant gratification way of online.
However, one thing can be said for print version. My eyes hurt when I read from a computer screen for too long...which doesn't happen to me when reading from a book or a magazine. That being said, I think the pros of online versions outweigh the one con that I mentioned.
